Celebrate Flavor and 社区 at the Third Annual 什里夫波特-Bossier Black Restaurant Week
什里夫波特, LA – Get ready to savor the best of 什里夫波特-Bossier's black-owned bars and restaurants during the third annual 什里夫波特-Bossier Black Restaurant Week (SBBRW), presented by the 什里夫波特-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce. SBBRW will run from October 15th to October 21st, with the exciting kick-off event, "A Taste of MS KICK," on October 15th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 1210 Milam St., 什里夫波特, LA 71101.
SBBRW is a culinary celebration that continues to grow each year, shining a spotlight on our vibrant 社区's black-owned bars and restaurants. 小比利·安德森., SBBRW Committee Chair, highlights the event's growth: "Each year, Black Restaurant Week continues to grow and highlights our area's black-owned bars and restaurants. We hope this year more of our 社区 come out and experience all that these restaurants have to offer."
The 什里夫波特-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce, along with Caddo Parish, is dedicated to boosting the visibility and financial support for these African-American-owned businesses. Chairwoman Brittney Dunn explains the purpose behind SBBRW: "Black Restaurant Week is a week to increase the financial support and viability and exposure for our African-American owned restaurants in the City. These business owners aren't able to invest dollars in billboards, 报纸广告, and other marketing resources. 本周内, the 什里夫波特-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce fronts the bill along with Caddo Parish to help promote these restaurants to give them the marketing that they need for their business."
